Gene Boydの作品、ホーク、超精密木彫像の美術工芸品、アンティーク

1988年代からのシアトル滞在中に、綺麗な港に面したBoydの直営店で購入した美術工芸品。ちなみに、このGene Boydさんの紹介は、下記の通り；EarthenworksFINE AMERICAN ART AND CRAFTSGENE BOYDWood carver, Gene Boyd, has been carving realistic bird decoys for as long as he can remember. Boyds attention to detail including textures and colors make his carvings look as though they could fly away. Deriving his inspiration from watching birds in their domain, he expresses the hope that the popularity of wildlife art will help promote a broader appreciation of wildlife and its habitat.
